A simple tool for figuring percolation menstruum volumes and tincture yield.

Set your target weight:volume ratio, the alcohol percentage of your menstruum, and the weight and volume of your powdered herb. The calculator will automatically determine your final tincture volume, the amount and composition of menstruum you need to prepare, and a helpful estimate of how much menstruum to use for pre-moistening the herb.

Use consistent units (metric or imperial): if your herb weight is in grams, volumes will be in mL; if in ounces, results will be in ounces.
